New Orleans Cafe Du Monde and its beignets are back

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 19 — Beignets are Back! Yeaah! All you DoughNut lovers Unite. Dunkins and Krispys and all yer other faves all look up to the Nah-Lens tradition here... oOo

Cafe Du Monde, a French Quarter landmark, began serving its signature chicory-laced coffee and sugar-dusted beignets Wednesday for the first time since being shuttered by Hurricane Katrina.
