earBuds for iPods too Loud
AudioTrash all around us! oOo There is too much Noise and Junk-- but trying to drown it out with extreme counter-decibels [ what some refer to as "music" , i.e RapCrap, Headbanger, Screamer vocal, Punk/Pop/Metal/Thrash/Death & DEAF Metal. . .] is not the answer.
It seems like the list of Ear-Offenses keeps growing. . . oOo Anyway, I get off the Point here. oOo
Earbuds can boost the audio signal by as many as nine decibels -- comparable to the difference in sound intensity between an alarm clock and a lawn mower. oOo
I don't know about you, but I'd rather have an alarm clock going off rather than carry a Lawn Mower right up next to my ear at Full Blast! oOo oOo
**NOISE POLLUTION ALERT**
And, on a side "note" you Morons cranking the Jack-hammer decibels in your car are killing your ears and your speakers there too! Don't you hear how Blown-Out and Torn-apart those subwoofers rumble thru the chasis??
D'OH-- I almost forgot-- YOU CAN"T HEAR IT! oOo
C'mon people, get a clue-- or you'll be Deaf , Ringing and Clued-out [ tuned-out] by the time you are 30 !!
Over-the-hearing-Hill in da Hood! Ouch, that's got to hurt. . .
oOo oOo
In turning up the volume to drown out background noise, oOo oOo people "don't realize they may be causing some damage" to their hearing, Garstecki said.
Noise-canceling headphones are another option for those who desire to listen to music for an extended period of time. These devices can eliminate background noise so users do not have to crank up the volume of their music for that purpose.
